2022 CSA Week 5 Recipes
Our strawberry patch is fruiting very well now! We’ve been trying to keep up with the harvest while still filling out our fields. We put a lot of plants into the ground this week including green onions, leeks, radishes, kohlrabi, lettuce, and winter squash. We have a nice crops of both peas and beans growing larger, so we hope to include those in the shares in the next week or two. This week’s share is full of flavor, and we really enjoyed the mixed herb pasta dish below. We included white sugar beets which have incredible flavor in both the roots and leaves. We hope you enjoy the share this week!

2022 CSA Week 4 Recipes
We’re excited to include our first harvest of strawberries for you this week. We planted our strawberry crop last spring, so the crop has been a year in the making. We hope to have strawberries for the next few weeks. We’re picking everyday, so in a few weeks time we’ll be ready for the plants to finish producing... We are very busy these days, trying to fill up every inch of bed space with new transplants. We had a few days of intense heat which were a challenge for both our crew and our plants, but that has been followed by a nice soaking rain and clouds. We have a lot of transplants that are establishing themselves and should be adding new leaves by next week. We hope you have a great week, and thank you for supporting our farm!

2022 CSA Week 3 Recipes
We have another great selection of spring veggies for you this week. The farm is like a busy bee hive these days. We have a crew of 8 plus us doing lots of weeding and planting. We still have a lot of crops to establish, but we’re happy with our progress so far. Our broccoli crop was a bit stunted from the spring rain, so the initial  heads are small, but we should be able to have nice lateral cuttings once the plants grow larger. These are some of the tastiest carrots and radishes we’ve grown, and the roasted carrot recipe is delicious. Leave some of the tops on before roasting to incorporate some tasty greens into your dish. We love hearing about all the great things you guys make with the produce. Thank you for supporting us and our farm!
